The CGV day 4

Sorry guys no pictures today, haven't had the opportunity to take any today.
Another good days training for me today, 50 consecutive shots with only seven 9's and a huge quantity of quality 10.4's and above. The wind was testing in places and was from a completely different direction to the other days training, so overall very positive and a good days work!!

We had a minor panic on the range today when Little Martyn realised his foresight iris was broken..OH NOOOOOO. After a small and frantic search of peoples kit and cases, Ceri came to the rescue with her spare, Nice one Ceri.

Today was the first day of official equipment control, where the jury and judges ensure everyones rifles and clothing kit conforms to the same standards. The most trying test at the moment for most people is the stiffness and thickness of the jackets and trousers. If your kit fails the tests you can either be disqualified or simply not allowed to shoot. Fortionatly all my kit passed with no problems. So I have my sticker on my rifle to say I can shoot, I just can't wait till we start!!!

Thank you Rachel for getting my car and looking after it. At least my mind is put at ease.

I promise there will be plenty of pics tommorrow!!

Once again thanks to all who read this and to those who leave me comments, its very much appreciated and gives me little reminders of home.
Ceers guys.

Dave
