Today and tonight are our last day of freedom before we officially become part of the Commonwealth games and move into the village. We await this with a fair amount of trepidation, as this will be a new experience for all of us. All the shooters in the team are in the same house so that helps, and should contribute to us being more at ease.
Hopefully the next installment will be from within the village and will include loads of pics of our pad and the facilities at our disposal.
Weather here is awful!!! Far too much sun and never a cloud in the sky. I don't know if we can cope for much longer!!
So far we are generally in good health and good spirits. I have blistered the outside of both my ankles thanks to Hari's sandals (thought you said they were worn in!!) and have to not wear full shoes (to hot anyway). The cold I developed on the plane is at last starting to leave me; at least I think it was a cold???
Have fun all and speak soon.
Dave
Our favourite afternoon tipple so far!!
(And yes that is real fruit, and yes I have been hving smoothies...Hmmmm LUSH!)
Here we have me playing pool at Ferntree Gully
There is debate among the camp as to whether;
(a) I was about to be abducted by aliens, or
(b) the shine of my head was to much for the camera??
There's the picture, decide for yourselves, leave your vote as a comment!!

Every one in work is really envious, the weather looks great, and here some parts of Britain (the vallys) have 4 foot of snow.
The pricutres of melbourne almost look fake (the sky is so blue)
Hope the move goes succesfuly, looking forward to the next episod form inside the village.
