World Cup Munich Day 6

Not a good day at the office today I'm afraid!!! A below par performance of 587 which left me well down the list, though not bottum thankfully!! Neil faired slightly better with his 590 and mike shot really well witha 594 including a questionable 8.something that dropped like a stone!! Well there's always Milan for us to improve and make up ground!! Here's hoping and wishing all competing the best!!!

Enough of the shooting and some more pictures. Following on from some comments about the lack of range complex in Wales I thought I would show you as much of the complex here as I can on this blog.

You've already seen the Smallbore shooting range, here's the rest....

This is the map of the complex.

The view that greets you to the complexThe "Hotel Olympia" on site at the complex

The restaurant attached to the HotelThe outdoor seating area, Nice view!!

The 100 lane Air range all equiped with Suis Ascor electonic target systemAgain each lane has large TV for spectator viewing

The 25m Pistol GalleryAgain each lane has large TV for spectator viewing

The purpose built Finals range, currently configured for the 50m prone final, but can also do 25m Pistol and 10m Air finalsSome of the spectator seating area, showing TV's and large screen for viewing.

Part of the Clay target rangeThe covered spectator area at the Clay range ( there is more non covered too!!)

An outdoor all weather sports area!!

All the best guys

some nice areas down the Bay in Cardiff suitable for such a prestigeous sporting venue! think of the tourism and sporting kudos -Wales could be another Munich after all we are twinned with Stutgart. better luck in Milan.

ps Tell Mike to ditch the batch of ammo or send it back to Bert
